Auckland is a city in New Zealand situated on the North Island. It is the largest and most populous urban area in the country. Auckland Town Hall and the Aotea Centre host a number of conferences and cultural events such as theatre, kapa haka, and opera. Auckland also has a professional symphonic ensemble in the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra.
